24.01.2022 As we are starting to emerge from Covid19 lockdown, are you starting to think about putting some colour and shine into your horses?? Then you can't go past Oral...x Cacoliv! CACOLIV contains iron and copper, with chelated minerals for fast absorption. These minerals (iron, copper, zinc and manganese) can assist in maintaining red blood cells and haemoglobin, as well as being essential for nervous system function and protein metabolism. The folic acid in CACOLIV is a hematopoietic vitamin which can also play an important role in the maintenance of red blood cells. The copper and cobalt in CACOLIV can help darken a horses coat, producing an iridescent sheen difficult to achieve with an ordinary supplement. CACOLIV may be used as an aid for good coat colour all year round, but especially when horses shed their winter coats. CACOLIV is a haematinic supplement offering an alternative to B-complex vitamins which may cause a hyperactive reaction in some horses. It also provides a replacement for injectable iron which can exacerbate bleeding if administered too close to strenuous work. This product may be used weekly as a general tonic. Directions: Can be added to feed. Give one tube 24 hours before racing or work, followed by a mid-week dose. Give one tube 24 hours before racing or work. To darken the coat, give one tube every second day (total 4 tubes). Available in a 6mL tube (single dose). Available from your local feed store/saddlery or online.....

21.01.2022 Update: The Rug Rack National Pony of the Year Show and The Crown Equestrian Show Horse & Heritage Breed Championships. It is with a heavy heart that we announc...e that the 2 shows have been postponed at this point in time. Given the current Covid-19 situation that appears to be escalating, we feel that we have had no choice but to make this difficult decision. Given we do not have the backing of a larger body behind us and should we continue with planning for March which is only weeks away, we feel this would be detrimental to our brand and, also our own sanity given the current situation that seems to change very quickly. We do not feel it is morally acceptable to continue processing entries when we know deep in our hearts, this decision was inevitable. All exhibitors that have has their entries processed and paid have been personally contacted. We would like to thank our major sponsors of both shows and will ensure you are given our constant thanks and acknowledgment over the coming months whilst we put our back-up plan into place: The Rug Rack, Crown Equestrian, Bamborough Pony Stud, Gilbunna Stud, Workforce X-S Tamworth, Berrybank Stud, GT Performer, Roxi J Accessories, Imperial Stud, Industrial Metal Protectives (NSW), Glenwood Pony Stud, Ashwood Hackney Stud, National Horse Transport, Argus Park Shetland Pony Stud & Off the Track NSW/ACT. I have been in contact with SIEC in regards, to available dates later in 2021, they gave me 2 options in September that clash with Adelaide & Melbourne Royals and no doubt other events that could directly affect our entries assuming this time of the year will no doubt be very busy with postponed events trying to re-run. We have also taken into consideration this being foaling time for many breeders who may not be so keen to travel far from home if they have mares due to foal. We want both shows to have a "National" feel and we believe this cannot be achieved if exhibitors from all over Australia are unable to enter either due to border restrictions or lack of confidence in spending their money not knowing if they could actually attend the event. 14.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that the Pinto Horse Association of NSW Inc Committee has made the decision to cancel the 2020 National Pinto Championships which is held annually at K Ranch Arena - 27, 28th and 29th November 2020. As you will appreciate, there are many months of planning and work to prepare for the National show meaning that a decision needed to be made now, due to the rising numbers of COVID-19 in NSW and VIC coupled with border closures preventing interstate trav...el the situation over the coming months is deemed uncertain. With the restrictions in place and possible further restrictions, we believe it is much safer for our members and attendees for the show to be cancelled this year Once the COVID situation settles and we believe we can provide safe and compliant practises we will look into holding another Show and be forward planning for a 2021 National Show. In the meantime enjoy your pintos! We love hearing what everyone is up to, what foals and due etc so please keep in touch and most of all stay safe!

06.01.2022 I feel it’s important to acknowledge those that support and sponsor these big wins that we go so hard for... I was interested to learn about Ruth Onofri as I assumed she may have been an important contributor to the Pinto horse that I now love so much... a lady after my own heart? So I asked the question ... Marg Madden replied - Ruth Onofri was a lover of Pintos, she owned and exhibited some lovely horses and ponies over the many years that she was a member, her stud prefix ...was Raminco, one of her very successful mares and I think her favourite, was Raminco Bandita. Ruth was also a judge and was awarded honorary life membership for her services to the association. Ruth donated the Supreme Champion Led Pinto trophy at Sydney Royal each year until her passing, her family then continued the tradition in her name. Ruth was a lovely lady and friend who will not be forgotten by all who knew her. Michelle Larsen Pennie
