13.01.2022 Well, that’s it for me! Yesterday morning I held my last private lesson and my last class forever at Pipai. Yesterday afternoon was spent packing up the studio and disassembling fixtures. I will be opening my new online fabric and haberdashery store ‘Fabric Hoarders’ in February. Until then, head on over to my new Fabric Hoarders Facebook page to stay in the loop. 10.01.2022 Last night saw my very last Stitch and Bitch social sewing group. Not one little bit of sewing was done. We went out in style with wine, champagne, ciders, cheese platters, coffee, mince pies and chocolates. Little miss Santa Claus even made an appearance. Thank you ladies for another wonderful year of great company and laughs. Tuesday nights have certainly been a highlight of my week for the last few years.

08.01.2022 Today marked the end of an era for me at Pipai. I held my last sewing classes today. It was sad to know that was it, but I’m looking forward to new adventures with my online store. Thank you to everyone who has supported my business over the years. I’ve met some lovely ladies and made some wonderful friends. I really hope that Joan and I have helped you all on your sewing journeys and I look forward to hearing and seeing some wonderful creations from you all. Thank you sincerely, Leanne

04.01.2022 ***EXCITING NEWS!!!*** So some of you may have read on my Pipai Sewing Supplies page that we are relocating in the New Year. My family and I have decided to make a tree change and move to country Victoria. I will be changing my business name and opening an online store. Web page, new name and logo etc being done as I type! This means you will still be able to buy my products and fabrics and great prices. Sit and Sew, all scheduled classes, social group, machine and Overlocke...r repairs /servicing and stock availability will run as normal until the end of the year. I will be available throughout January for machine repairs, private lessons and selected stock. The other good news is that I have sold my business to a lovely local lady. Katerina is a wonderful Mum with a growing family, and she will be taking over my remaining stock from the end of the year. She is starting kids classes from NOW and will be adding adult classes in the future. Please be patient with us as we make the change over, it’s a crazy time of year anyway Please still feel free to pop in and visit the studio until Christmas, we would love to see you all! Learn how to do everything on your overlocker other than a straight seam! In this 2 hour class you will learn how to roll hem, gather, insert lace, pin tuck, sew with embroidery thread and much more! Students will go home with a little project made in the class. Total cost of the class including materials is $60 Monday 19th November 7pm-9pm *BOOKED OUT!
