25.01.2022 Our Buds (2-3 yrs) engaged in pasta threading activity to make necklaces! The educator demonstrated how to thread macaroni onto the string and tie the ends, to make sure the pasta pieces do not fall off. Some children asked for help when threading the pasta, while others did it independently, only receiving help to tie the knot The children learnt mathematical concepts as they counted the number of pieces they threaded! This activity also stimulated language development through interaction with the educator. Threading helped the Buds develop their fine motor skills which are very important and will assist them in performing daily activities such as doing buttons, opening and closing bags and many more Buds parents - we hope you enjoyed the surprise presents!!
