24.01.2022 Marc Hoyle is organising a throw if anyone is interested in a pickup game we will be trying for one on Sunday 16 June at 1pm at the baseball field. Rock up have a throw and a hit and a laugh.

07.01.2022 Today four Pirates got together and not so gracefully belted a golf ball around Richmond Public Golf Course. With lost balls out of bounds and in the water hazards and also a player throwing a club further than the ball was hit we got around the nine holes. Shannon scorched home over the final 3 holes in 14 shot to post 52 shots overall Equal second with 53 was Aaron and Darren and Young Wes finished with 61 We hope to play again in a couple of weeks we need more players coming to knock Shannon of the top of the table Cheers

02.01.2022 Would like to thank the following for their help, support and Sponsorship during the season David Stevenson - Owner of Jack loves red in Blackmans bay for his sponsorship and for playing his first season. Played well and hopefully he continues on next season Waggon and Horses North Hobart - for being our main naming sponsor, generous sponsorship deal to get our team up and running with our new uniform... Anna Higgins - for coming to almost every game to help out with Coaching and supporting the team. Hopefully she will chuck on a jersey next season and show the boys how its done. Aaron Jarvis - for all his efforts fundraising, bbq organising and being our treasurer, for holding the Gold instead of buying the team a pirate ship (would have been a great investment ) Shannon Davies - for being the captain we needed and showing so much dedication to the team, for standing aside to let the rookies have a good go and showing us how its done when he did step up to the mound! I've probably missed plenty but to the players, supporters and the Hobart Summer Baseball league we thank you for the season and will see you all next year!
