23.01.2022 A new gateway for Geelong. Congratulations to GeelongPort for opening an exciting new gateway for tourism & economic growth in North Geelong. We welcome the Spirit of Tasmania as a neighbour to the Pivot City Innovation District and we’d love to help accommodate their growing business needs in our professional precinct. This new gateway gives extra importance to how the Power Station project and revitalised Osborne Park waterfront precinct could help give a great first impression to the 450,000 visitors who will sail by every year.

19.01.2022 Much like Geelong, our Pivot City project has experienced some incredible job growth in recent years. The Power Station project is about allowing that proven adaptive growth to continue. Much like Geelong we are keen to put our best foot forward to welcome the Spirit of Tasmania and make the best out of the new opportunities this offers. The Power Station business hub proposal is set to be an expansion of the Pivot City project (Federal Mills & Glass House) and is less than 1...km from the new ferry terminal which will see almost half a million travellers per year sail in front of the landmark site. The permit is currently before the State Government to decide if they will let the project proceed. The site has sat vacant on the waterfront for 50 years and alternative low-risk plans have been developed if the iconic development opportunity is blocked. Innovation involves being solution focussed, it involves taking risks for the best outcomes, it involves committing to see a challenge through. See more
