24.01.2022 WE ARE REOPENING 15th APRIL Hi everyone, Just a quick update on Pixie & Bear...... We have been given an opportunity to re-open our doors while still following the guidelines from ACT health and the restrictions put in place by the government to keep our team and the community safe while also providing the delicious food, coffee and service you all know and love. We will be operating from Wednesday-Sunday 7am-2pm doing take aways only. We have a limited menu but all coffee options and your fave juices and smoothies will still be available. 20.01.2022 Due to the intense smoke that has blanketed the nations capital, we have decided to close the shop today, Sunday 5th January. We have discovered this morning that the cafe is full of smoke and just isn’t safe for our staff or our customers. We will be open again on Tuesday 7th. 14.01.2022 Dear Customers, Our food and coffee is so good that even Covid wanted to taste it! Unfortunately, this means that the staff at Pixie & Bear cafe have been exposed to a positive case from the community and we have all been sent into quarantine for the next 14 days. ... If any of our customers were at the cafe on Saturday morning 9th October between 9:30-10:30am please get tested, monitor for symptoms and follow the updates provided by ACT health. 12.01.2022 Hey friends! 2020 certainly has been a tough trot for many. Bushfires, hailstorms, flash floods and now a virus that has consumed the globe! We have been informed that the rules around indoor dining have changed again. As of 5pm today we are only allowed 1 person per 4 square metres of floor space. That includes our staff. We have had to dramatically reduce our seating capacity so bookings are essential. We are trying to keep up with the ever evolving situation to keep you, ...us, our staff, everyone, safe. Please understand that this is most uncertain times especially for our staff and some supplies are hard to get. We’ve watched her grow up and now she orders for herself! The loyalty and support of our customers has been overwhelming.
