Although, Nonna and the family will never give up! ~ we want to provide you with fresh Italian food that you can enjoy in your own home ~ You can still support us by purchasing take-away! 06.01.2022 The Pastiera was invented in a Neapolitan convent of San Gregorio Armeno. An unknown nun wanted that cake, symbol of the Resurrection, to have the perfume of the flowers of the orange trees which grew in the convents gardens.
