21.01.2022 Some of the beautiful produce available at the stall today. Cauliflower, cabbage, rainbow chard, snow peas. Come get some . 16 Kennedy Street, Pemberton.

21.01.2022 Even the garden is looking festive with all its reds and greens (ok, so it is generally always like this, but work with me) and the fridge out the front is filled to the brim with lots of delish salad or roast veggie goodies. There is carrots and red cabbage for coleslaw, lettuce and cucumbers for green salad, and beets & cauliflower for roasting! If for some reason you find the thing you are after is missing from the fridge or you would like to order a larger amount send us a PM and we’ll pick some for you Thursday morning.

20.01.2022 If only there was a soft comfortable bed I could lie on instead of your seedlings... like, I get it, it’s lovely and warm in the nursery hence the bed designed specifically for a cat but nooooo that’s not good enough #bastardcat #farmlife #marketgardening

20.01.2022 Starting the new year with a bang of colour! First tomatoes and jalapeños on the cart, as well as more lettuce, basil, squash, cucumbers, cauliflower, carrots and eggs.

20.01.2022 Hey Pemby, great news!!! The weather is warming which means all the chooks are cranking out the eggs again. These eggs have the best, yollowist (pretty sure I just made up a new word) yolks you will see as they are fully pastured eating lots of greens and bugs. We’ll keep stocking it up as you take them out. Cheers for your support. 16 Kennedy Street, Pemberton.

18.01.2022 Turn your back for one minute.... and the cucumbers grow to the size of zucchini’s. Cart is re-stocked with cucumber, cauliflower, broccoli, basil, lettuce and the first of the seasons garlic. (As well as a few other bits and pieces!) 16 Kennedy street pemberton.

14.01.2022 Hey lovely people, so we are in the midst of winter, it’s cold and wet BUT there’s also a heap of amazing organic food to eat straight from the garden. Right now in our farm stall we have rainbow chard, carrots, mustard greens, snow peas, garlic, broccoli, rocket, kale, pak choi, lemons, oranges, kiwi fruit, eggs and even some preserves like lemon butter, hot sauce, jalapeños and jams. Get in quick as I’m sure it won’t last long!!!

13.01.2022 Hey there lovely people, Spring has started and right now is the perfect time to get a quick batch of cauliflower and broccoli through your veggie garden. Plant them now, feed them up and you should be harvesting late October. I have 6 packs for sale $4 each containing 3 broc 3 cauli. There is an 10 pack there too which is $6. These won’t last long and are nice seedlings ready to get in the ground. Out the front of my place, 16 Kennedy Street, Pemby.

12.01.2022 Lately I’ve has a couple of questions about growing carrots, the below images describe the steps I take; descriptions included with the images.

12.01.2022 Ummmm, my name is Jamie and I have a broccoli problem... I’ve had a great season for these green beauties this year and now I need to offload them. Hit me up with how many you’d like and I can package them up for you or you can take a walk through the garden with me and select your own. $3 per head.

11.01.2022 Excellent potential opportunities for more learning

09.01.2022 Hey there wonderful followers, please share around or if you know of someone, please give them a nudge in our direction, Source Kitchen is an awesome place to work!!!

08.01.2022 Duck Eggs!!! If you’ve never tried them, you are missing out. Everyone says how good they are for baking (which is true) but hands down, they are THE BEST poached egg you’ll ever have. If you’re a weirdo and don’t like yolk, don’t waste your money but for the majority out there that know that the golden runny yolk is the food of the gods, we have a few extra at the moment and I’ve put them on our stall out front. Oh I also took a photo of a duck egg vs chicken egg to demonstrate size difference. Hit me up if you have any questions.

03.01.2022 Artist John Duncan will have is easel set up on Saturday from midday. Come and meet our local artist, known for capturing the essence of the surrounding countryside, beloved fur babies and a quirky personality.

03.01.2022 Cabbages have been one plant I’ve struggled to grow but this season they are looking great. If anyone is keen for me to harvest these 100% spray free beauties for them, let me know. I have red cabbage coming on too but the green is certainly ready to go.

02.01.2022 I’m going to share this to all of my pages, this is going to be great for Pemby BUT if you don’t check it out and put your 2 cents worth in now, you will just get what you get. Now is the time Pemby People to get involved in this great new project in town.

01.01.2022 Anyone keen to do some pickling? We have a couple of 10kg boxes of Lebanese cucumbers available for $25. (Approx 50 cucumbers) Send a PM if you would like one!! (Also good for eating, good luck eating them all though!)
