22.01.2022 Plant of the week Cyclamen Cyclamen are great to add colour to the home over winter and spring, and ideal as table or side board centre piece. They like bright but indirect sunlight.... Water when soil is dry to touch (do not keep wet) and water under the leaves to help prevent leaves from rotting. Remove dead flowers to promote new ones and help keep your plant from flowering for as long as possible. Once your Cyclamen has finished flowering in Summer, keep it in a shady spot in the house till the next winter removing any dead leaves (dont be put of it starts to look unhealthy and not growing, this is usual as it is dormant). Likes to be fertilized every couple of months in growing seasons See more

10.01.2022 Plant of the week Boston Fern (Nehrolplepis exaltata) A beautiful leafy indoor plant that looks great in a pot or in hanging basket in the home.... Boston Ferns are pretty hardy but do like certain environmental conditions. Can be used as a bathroom plant due to liking to misting and humidity Likes well lit indirect sunlight, and thrives in temperatures between 14 and 22 c. Water to keep moist but not wet, it does not like to dry out. Boston ferns like humidity and will benefit from occasionally misting too (once or twice a week). It prefers to be kept away from direct flow from air conditioning / heating as this can cause it to dry out Fertilize in growing season with controlled release or liquid fertilizer. See more
