I started this little plant delivery biz with a HUGE heart almost 4 years ago and I'd say we have come a LONG way. We are always honoured and humbled to be chosen to send your gifts! This Gifts For Nature Lovers thing we are in is a passion that will never fade. ... As a small business owner I have SUCH an immense amount of respect for EVERYONE doing the small business thing: managing people, time, budgets, physical work, mental work, mindset, social media, "menial" tasks, major jobs, customer service (constant connection), price setting, client mediation, the list goes on ..and on.... It's a HUGE responsibilty and certainly swings back and forth between easy/fun/ inspiring and stressful/exhausting/time consuming! In this lil' post, rather than talking about me, though I might do that in another upcoming post .... .....I'd like to talk about YOU! YOU as a customer, a follower, a dreamer, a doer, a nature lover, a gifter, a giver, a kindred person in business, an employee, an artist, creator, friend... Basically these gifts are just FRESH and DELIGHTFUL, and we are loving churning them our for you. The PERFECT balcony/kitchen/outdoor garden companion for tasty home-made meals, you can either clip off what you need for cooking and keep them in their tubs, or re-home these plants into bigger pots so they can really take off. 09.01.2022 Australian Woolly Bush: Adenanthos sericeus. At Plants For Friends we love the locals! This soft silvery green native is native to our South West (it's also known as Albany Woolly Bush) and makes a great screen plant, a full and chunky pot feature for a potted outdoor garden and a lovely living Aussie-style Xmas tree. ... They attract birds - a plus for any garden - and love sunshine. We mulch ours in their pots before delivery (to help retain moisture) and recommend pruning tips lightly to encourage growth and help the plant retain a neat shape. Are you a native plant lover too??

09.01.2022 EuphorbiaTrigona Also known as Friendship Cactus, Good Luck Cactus, Cathedral Cactus, Candelabra Cactus (very fitting!), African Milk Tree... Even with all these cactus references, this handsome plant is not actually a cactus- but is (as you'd easily guess) a succulent. ... It stores water in its leaves and trunk, so over watering is not an option. These also have a toxic sap that is unsafe for your eyes and skin so it's important to wear gloves when handling.
