01.01.2022 Did you know that all Building Work on a Heritage Place in Brisbane requires a Development Approval unless you obtain an Exemption Certifiate? There is a significant reduction in assessment costs and timeframes associated with obtaining an Exemption Certificate as opposed to a Development Approval, and therefore, it is recommended that you talk to our planners before embarking on a renovation of a heritage property. A perfect example is the Exemption Certifiate Planvista delivered for a new renovation of a property in Kangaroo Point. The project is now proceeding to final Building Approval and construction in the next couple of weeks.
