25.01.2022 Rav-4 has topped the monthly VFACTS sales charts for the first time ever in July, as consumers move away from passenger cars and shift towards SUVs. We are seeing stock shortages of top-selling HiLux and Ranger after strong demand in June with the Instant Asset Write-Off incentive. The extension of the incentive until Dec 2020 is likely to boost sales again in the latter part of the year - we encourage early orders to secure stock. Overall new-car sales in July 2020 were do...wn nationally by 12.8 per cent on last July, with 72,505 vehicles reported as sold. July was the fourth strongest sales month so far this year. With most Victorian showrooms closed, there was a 65.9% decline in sales for this state compared to August 2019, and 28.8% nationally.
