16.01.2022 Who would've thought just over 12 years ago that shy young Sam, who was on the hunt for a Carpentry Apprenticeship, would be awarded the prestigious, Young Buil...der of the Year Award for the Master Builders Tasmania Association. Firstly, thank you. Thanks to everyone who has supported me over my time to date in the Industry. First and foremost, my partner Yvette, who has been there for almost all of my career. It has been a hard road, both personally and business wise. Thank you for always being there, putting tea on the table, supporting and giving me a beautiful son, whom I hope, may one day follow in my footsteps. My Dad, my Mum, my Step Mum and my Step Dad, for your help and guidance, encouraging me to persevere and push through the good and bad times. My extended family, thanks for supporting me and understanding when I couldn't be there for the catch-ups, birthdays or other events. Thank you, to everyone that I have ever worked with, you have all taught me valuable lessons and practices which have played a key role in my development and growth throughout my career within the industry. Our team, "the boys". I urge you all to take a minute to pat yourselves on the back. This would not have been possible without your efforts and hard work, I truly mean that. The trust that I have gained and the faith I have in you guys and the all rounded growth we make daily is, very, very valued and important to me. Thanks. I look forward to seeing you all grow and where we will be again, this time next year.
