Children develop early literacy skills when you give them the chance to play with and explore books and other written materials like magazines, newspapers, take-out menus, markers, and crayons.

Teachers use their knowledge of children’s strengths, interests, ideas and needs to break down skills and routines to guide each child. Pre prep, have taken their interest of planting their new garden and extended it into their indoor learning environment and have begun creating a veggie shop. Extending vegetable knowledge from one aspect to another.
