13.01.2022 Anzac day is this Saturday and our family have made lanterns for an early morning commemoration. Made for some great discussion about Anzac day and remembering our soldiers. We washed out some 2L milk bottles an cut them down to size, then decorated with marker pens. Girls traced pictures and coloured them in making some striking shadows when lit. Make sure you have a little sand in the bottom so that the tea light candle can safely burn.... Once lit make sure only adults touch them. We are going to set them out on our driveway Saturday morning.
