21.01.2022 A great free resource for families to follow along at home! Yoga can be a great way for kids to develop all sorts of skills like listening, visual-motor skills, balance, coordination, sensory/emotional regulation, breathing techniques and proprioception! Give it a go! https://www.youtube.com/user/CosmicKidsYoga

21.01.2022 For children who work well in learning skills via song, this could be a great one to introduce considering the current situation! It looks at all the steps of hand washing for thorough cleaning and is child-friendly!

20.01.2022 Lovely to see tv shows about children with all needs and disabilities!

13.01.2022 Great to see this inclusive initiative, we all love a trip to Kmart, and this might help some little ones manage a bit better.

09.01.2022 Sad news! Bec Waters is leaving Playing for Change, to pursue new opportunities, with her last day being 29th December 2019. Bec has been an important and valued member of the Playing for Change team for nearly 4 years and we will miss her very much! Best wishes Bec!

04.01.2022 Helpful breakdown!

03.01.2022 While we are aware that Australia has not told schools to close, this could be useful for any families who are self-isolating or in quarantine to continue to maintain routines for children at home (and themselves!). Continuing with, or adopting a routine can be an effective way to support and reduce anxiety in children. This is just one example, however families can develop their own (and involve the kids in the planning to support a sense of control over their day).

03.01.2022 A useful visual resource for families with children who may be anxious about the coronavirus! This social story was not created by Playing for Change OT however was made available to be shared with the wider public. https://www.flipsnack.com//coronavirus-soc/full-view.html
