19.01.2022 {GO DRAW/WRITE - CHRISTMAS} Class and friend Christmas cards - who is doing it this year? We did it here at PLB, it is always a task that sounds fun at first but turns a bit into a chore. So this year we turned it into a simple time management and goal setting activity.... Card writing is hard work and most likely not going to get done in one sitting. So sit down with your child, figure out how many there is to write, how many days to write them and set a goal/target for each day. Writing cards can be a motivating activity for our reluctant writers if it is not too overwhelming so make sure the targets are achievable!

02.01.2022 {GO PLAY - CHRISTMAS} As Christmas approaches and so do the holidays, here at Play Learn Bloom, we will attempt to bring you ideas that are easy to do and keep the kids engaged and happily playing! First idea - play dough! Playdough can be easily made (there is a recipe on my website under resources) or can be cheaply bought at KMart. Add some glitter and now it is Christmas play dough. Playdough is fantastic for hand strengthening and developing fine motor skills.
