07.01.2022 ******* VALE - ANNABELLE CROW ******* It is with great sadness that Dunoon Sports Club shares the news of the passing of Annabelle Crow. The Club Board, Ma...nagement, Staff and Members express their deepest condolences go to Wayne, Louise, family, friends and anyone who came to know this larger than life character. Annabelle has been a passionate Board Committee Officer and an active member of the Dunoon Sports Club for many years; she volunteered her skill and contributed to the community events in numerous capacities. Her loyal, caring, giving nature shone through and over-rode the argumentative statements she loved inducing for a healthy debate. Annabelle loved music and hosted a ‘music trivia’ every month on a Saturday afternoon, which will be sorely missed. She also was a key organiser/participant of the children’s Christmas party, pantomimes and other major events. The most recent contribution to the club Annabelle made was the purchase of a greatly needed ‘glass cleaning machine’ and she continually shared her ideas on how to make our little community better. This weekend Dunoon Sports will celebrate Annabelle’s life and encourage people to wear something with the colour ‘red’ in her honour. Annabelle, you will never be forgotten and fond memories will flow with the void feeling of not having you in our presence.

06.01.2022 Tomorrow we have a few games on the field and the sports club has their pluckers and poets event on so we thought we would put a few delicious tacos on for you ...guys!!! We will have 3 options : Pulled pork Spiced vegan cauliflower and 4 bean chilli And a spiced chicken And our fryer will be on for some hot chips :) We will open from 12 pm till 6pm See more

03.01.2022 Thanks everyone for a great turnout for the return of pluckers. Here's a snippet of a bunch of the jammers getting down and properly bluesy. 01.01.2022 A little something about our Host/s this month (next week). Jason Sines is a part of a local ground called Bad Sign. Bad Sign is a 4-piece blues band covering good bluesy rock with a dash of country rock. With each member having years of experience playing in the local music scene & jam sessions.... This band consists of :- Jason Sines - Guitar /Vocals (Grassroots Reggae, Crush, Smooth Grooves) Pat Breen - Keyboards/Vocals (The Rusty Brothers, The Blues Vein, The Canecutters, Grey Wolf) Josh Kirk - Bass Guitar (Acid Bleed) Mick Saunders - Drums (The Leahy Brothers Band, Hit & Miss, Noisy Neighbors) So please come along on Sunday 13 September and have a fabulous backing group whilst you perform (if you wish) or just sit back and enjoy the many talents strutting their stuff.
