We say thank you to Sydney Metro Baseball League, Rap 4 Change Mt Druitt Lions Baseball Club, Blue Mountains Baseball and Softball Club, Penrith Baseball Rouse Hill Wildcats Baseball Club and all the other clubs for their messages of support to the Emanuel Family.

15.01.2022 To Our Members, Baseball NSW are moving in line with the Government’s recommendation to minimize all non-essential travel. As such, clubs are permitted to hold ...training sessions within their region (within the Greater Sydney basin), with all BNSW sanctioned events (National Showcase) and competitions (State League, Women’s League, PCBL, Metro, Minor League) being suspended until Monday the 18th of January, where a further update will be provided. Competitions within the country regions are not affected at this time. Members participating in any non-sanctioned BNSW (third-party) programs or any other baseball-related activity do so at their own risk. If they do so choose to participate in any such event then; o Members are not covered by the Baseball NSW Member insurance policy; As such, Members are not covered by any third-party general liability; o Third-party providers need to ensure that their COVID Safety Plan is up-to-date and available should it be requested by Members or NSW authorities; o That the provider should give suitable insurance coverage for their program; We will continue to monitor the Government recommendations and make changes if required. 14.01.2022 Vale Earle Emanuel Yesterday we lost one of our own. Earle a longtime member of the Braves family passed away suddenly yesterday.... Earle played for several seasons with the Braves before switching to coaching and committee roles that enable him to watch his sons Jake and Drew play the great game of baseball for the Braves. The 2021 Winter Season saw Earle return to the diamond for the first time to play for the Mohawk Braves. He was not only a Brave but also a long term supporter of Greater Western Baseball Association, Baseball NSW & the Sydney Blue Sox. The Plumpton Braves Baseball Club will take to the diamonds this weekend to honour Earle. All four teams and their opponents will hold a minutes silence before each game, with the Braves wearing black armbands. Additionally, at the request of the Emanuel family the Seniors Presentation will go ahead on Sunday.
