10.01.2022 Warrigal Greens Recipe!! Warrigal Greens and Pea Soup from Brush Turkey - Forest Heart Newsletter - Maleny Heat 212 tbsp butter with 1 chopped onion till transparent. Add 2 tbsp plain flour and while stirring, add 1 cup blanched and chopped warrigal greens. Add 1 tspn salt, native pepper to taste, 12 tspn dried and ground native mint or 1 tspn fresh mint. Add 2 cups fresh green peas, shelled. Add 12 cup dry white wine (or stock) then gradually add 3 cups milk.... Slowly bring to the boil and cook for about 15-20 mins at a gentle simmer. Add 12 cup cream and remove from heat. Puree in a food processor or blender and return to the heat. Serve once hot - do not bring to the boil again.
