11.01.2022 Over the last few months we are getting a lot of enquiries regarding insurance companies. When selecting insurance companies some have their own network repairers and unfortunately you don't get a choice to where your car gets repaired. If you want to choice your own repairer make sure you choice a insurance company that allows you to have that choice. Please be mindful to look over your insurance policies as these changes are in the fine print and a lot of people are unaware of the changes until they require repairs. If you require further information please do not hesitate to call us for further information.

It is your car and you have a right to choice where your car gets repaired. We are also seeing so many cars come out of shops where the insurance make them take your car as you have no choice and the quality and standard of work is appalling.

01.01.2022 Some of our customers have recently discovered that they do not have choice of repairer after renewing with RACV. We just wanted to remind you all that when renewing your policy with RACV (either from a paper renewal or online), please ensure that you select the 'Any repairer' option as per the below images. Point Cook Collision will reimburse you up to $100 of the difference charged for choice of repairer if you have an accident.
