24.01.2022 Hi PC Jetters, Who is up for a walking challenge? Our PT Eleanor has provided the following for your consideration ... This is me today, but I plan to get some more steps in this afternoon. How can we do this with current restrictions? I take advantage of the hour walking/running outside. Then to finish I put some music on and walk up and down my hallway at home, or in my back yard. You would be surprised how quickly the steps add up. The benefits of walking is endless. You will lighten your mood, strengthen muscles, support your joints and improve circulation. Not to mention weight loss goals are more likely if you are consistent. I use the heart app on my iPhone to see my achievements, giving me that accountability too Would love to see your results. Post them through each day. Lets see how people are going and support each other along the way!!! So it’s over to you. We all know change is happening to the exercise restrictions, the weather is improving and life will open up again. I have been walking/running daily, plus trying to perfect handstands to build up my core strength. It not only work your abs, but also strengthens your hip flexors, hamstrings, inner thigh muscles, and spinal muscles to create a balanced and strong core. It’s been so much fun too, and is keeping me on track until we get back to the gym environment again. 21.01.2022 Morning PC Jetters So we have another few weeks to wait until we can get back into the gym. But did you know you can start PT with one of our coaches outdoors from Monday 27th Sept? Maybe this is exactly what you need as the weather is warming up. ... Our PT Eleanor provides her summary of goals. Following my cardio from last week I am really concentrating on getting the required daily steps of 10,000 and maybe a bit more to ensure I can maintain my weight, during this time. I have been really reflecting on my goals and where I want to be by the end of the year... it’s not long away let’s face it! So each day I feel focused and driven towards making sure I support my body goals. Even if it’s cold outside I’ll be out there...it’s a mindset for me now. How important are your goals? Where do you want to be once we resume back to normal living? I am keen to learn more about your fitness and how you have been tacking, during these very challenging times.
