Did you know that although the law states that a child may sit without a restraint from their 7th birthday that most children do not correctly fit an adult seatbelt til around 12 years old. Further children under the age of 12 should always ride in the back if possible to avoid injury caused by the airbag. The 5 step test is a handy guide to help parents know when it may be safe for their child to sit with just an adult seatbelt. If your child does not meet thes...e steps they may benefit from a booster seat or even a type G fully harnessed seat. If you need help choosing a child restraint appropriate for your child message the page and we can help make sure your child travels as safe as possible in the car.
