23.01.2022 October 4th-7th,2019

23.01.2022 We definitely will not be able to have Easter camping this year!!!Today when the water subsided enough to get down to see what repairs might be needed we were shocked to see the devastation that has struck our beautiful campground. We will need to take stock of the situation and think about where we go from here.

20.01.2022 If you've been trying to ring or message us we have had no Internet/ Phone service this morning until now and only have one bar so keep trying. We have plenty of space for camping, so, if you can't reach us rock up and we'll see you when you arrive.

17.01.2022 Camper's dress up theme for New Year's is Cowboy's and Indian's Hope to see you all there camping. Big thank you to Bec Anne for running the show this year. Walk up artist's are welcome. Booking's for camping is required.

16.01.2022 We have a fantastic lineup of very talented Artists for your pleasure this Easter. Hope you are able to make it for an enjoyable family weekend.

15.01.2022 After being in contact with the Department of Health to get clarification about our responsibilities and requirements to "reduce the spread" of the Covid 19 Virus and to keep everyone safe in our vicinity we have been advised to "shut the gates" and not to have anyone camping for Easter. We regret any inconvenience that this decision may cause but feel it is more important to consider the wellbeing of all concerned. We would be most grateful if you could share this message with your friends so they are aware of what is happening.and people realise we are not open for Easter.i Please let your friends know about this decision. Thank you, Rosemary.

09.01.2022 Congratulations Conor Smith on winning "Best Overall Artist" at our "Pride of the Barrington" Talent Quest, 2019, and also on turning Guy's chair on "the Voice".

07.01.2022 Here is another great line-up of Country Music talent for your enjoyment on the October Long Weekend. Look forward to meeting you here at Poley's Place.

07.01.2022 Listen to the crew of the Hugli Spirit, one of the tankers that has left our coast under the Liberal government. Australia needs fuel security!

06.01.2022 Waterfront views at Wattle Grove.

04.01.2022 A few pics of the flood of 19-20, March, 2021 exactly 43 years after the 1978 flood on the same dates. This one is almost as big but may not be finished yet with more rain predicted. There will be a lot of repairs to be carried out when it subsides and may be a while before the grounds dry out enough to get onto them. We will keep you posted with our progress and when it will be suitable for camping again.

04.01.2022 After lots of rain with the river rising and dropping and the grounds being too wet to get the mowers on them without getting bogged or leaving tyre marks everywhere, we've finally had a little break in the weather and spent a couple of days mowing and tidying up, so, we are opening up most areas from Monday, 2nd March, and will welcome campers back from then. Hope to see you soon.

03.01.2022 Hi everyone, our phone and internet service has been shocking these last few days with"no service" and "no network coverage" messages showing throughout the day and night. I'm hoping I can get this post on while I have 1 bar on the iPad, but still none on the phone. If you ring or send a message and can't get through please keep trying. Thank you for your patience.

01.01.2022 From a trickle to near normal level within a couple of days. It's amazing what a difference a bit of rain can make. It looks much more inviting for camping. The grass will turn green soon as well.

01.01.2022 Just saw this post and shared it in the hope that people realise that not only dogs, but, all animals and babies can be traumatised by those who let off fireworks for a fleeting moment of pleasure or whatever emotion it brings. It is a timely reminder for our customers to be aware that we have zero tolerance of anyone who thinks they can get away with letting off any fireworks here resulting in immediate ejection of the offenders.
