23.01.2022 IMPORTANT: 2020 King of the Mountain Festival cancelled. Due to the uncertainty of the timeline surrounding the Corona Virus situation, the King of the Mountain committee has decided to cancel the 2020 festival; this includes all races and activities associated with it. There is a great deal of time, organisation and costs associated with putting the festival on. Many of these investments start now and therefore we are not afforded the luxury of playing the waiting game and m...ust instead err on the side of caution which is why this decision makes sense. This decision is also in line with the Lions Australia & Government direction regarding COVID-19 and public events. Thank you all for your understanding in advance. For those that have already registered for the mountain race you will be contacted by the race director over the coming days.

07.01.2022 Not happening in 2020. Let's relive last years finish.... There are a number of local runners who are running from 2.00pm today from the Lions Den on Mountain street. Coe Vine won't let covid-19 stop him from running the mountain for the 25th time. (Unofficial)

07.01.2022 Managed to grab a few snaps during the (what would have been 2020 King of the Mountain) July 26th Cooroora outing. Some runners were moving too fast for the shutter on my phone ;)
