22.01.2022 POOL COVERS AND WINTER TIPS. As winter approaches, be aware of reducing running times of your pump and chlorination system. Prolonged periods of use, with your cover on, will raise your chlorine level to where bleaching may occur on the pool surface. We advise removing the cover during winter months, unless leaves are a problem, and also, routine testing of chemical balance. Please like and share.

18.01.2022 As we move through the summer hot spell, more and more people are asking if their pool is leaking. Evaporation at this time of the year can be as much as 50 to 60mm per week. If you think your pool is losing more than this it may be leaking. Before you call, try the bucket test, which involves filling a bucket with pool water, leaving it on the step or seating area in the pool, mark the level in the bucket and in the pool, if the water in the pool after a few days is lower than in the bucket, you possibly have a leak.
