If you are noticing that your pool isn't producing much chlorine or is constantly turning green, then the first thing to check is your chlorinator cell. If it's as caked up with calcium as this one, then it desperately needs a clean! The easiest way to clean the cell is to soak it in a mixture of 90% water, 10% acid for 10-15 mins or to use Salt Cell Cleaner. 07.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE #1 What will be changing for Pool Tek? With new social distancing measures being implemented for businesses across the nation, we thought we'd update you on what will be changing for pool tek.... 1. We will remain OPEN and OPERATIONAL as per normal unless mandated to close by the Government. We recommend getting your water checked ASAP in case of business closure in the coming weeks. 2. Pool servicing will continue as per normal. Technicians will employ social distancing measures to avoid coming in contact with people living on premises. Note, if we are servicing your property we also kindly ask that you keep a distance of 1.5m between yourself and the technician if you wish to talk. In addition, please refrain from physical contact such as shaking hands with technicians. 3. All technicians will be washing their hands between pool services. 4. Shop staff with be mandating social distancing between customers in line to make sure people aren't too close together. This will be regulated by taped waiting spots marked on the floor. We will also be providing hand sanitiser for our shop staff and customers.
