17.01.2022 Dio de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Not to be confused with Halloween, Day of the Dead is a traditional Mexican holiday where families gather to remember loved ones who have passed away. ... We were approached by Maid of Honour, Amanda, to help style a hen’s party for Bride to Be, Steph, as she loved the idea that those you’ve lost are close to you on this day. We worked with Amanda and Tina to transform Tina’s yard into a Day of the Dead fiesta. We chose traditional bright colours and Marie even had some papel piquado - traditional Day of the Dead bunting - that she had brought back from a trip back home to Texas. Most importantly we created a traditional shrine to honour Steph’s mother, who is no longer with us This was such an amazing challenge for us and we loved every minute of it!
