10.02.2022 NRL SA RAMS Senior Women’s Representative Coaching Appointment The NRLSA today announce the appointment of Mr Andrew Unger as Head Coach of the NRL SA RAMS 2018... Senior Womens Representative team that will participate in the NRL 2018 Affiliated States Rugby League Championships. NRLSA General Manager Mr. Ken Kennedy said there is a tremendous opportunity for Women and Girls from South Australia to participate in Rugby League at a national level, with the NRL announcing a Nation Womens Competition will commence in 2018. Andrew’s appointment is very important for the development of Womens Rugby League in South Australia, Andrew is a very experienced rugby league coach and been involved with the game is South Australia for many years, he is the ideal person to mentor the SA Rams Womens Representative Team. Players participating at the CAS Championships will have an opportunity to be selected in the Combined Affiliated States Representative team that will participate in the NRL National Women's Rugby League Carnival later in the year. From the carnival players will have an opportunity to be selected to attend the Jillaroos camp where players will can be considered for selection in the 2018 National Women’s Competition.
