24.01.2022 Oh boy !!!! This is one of the best stories ever ! It has everything in it. Just great , great learning for all juniors. Goran totally choked in the final set, but Pat missed a couple of crucial mistakes at key moments and let Goran back in. Goran had eventually learnt from life to hang in there and as you saw just, and only just, pulled through. Goran previously was famous for "Which Goran is showing up today". This is a wonderful clip on one of the most colourful players we have had, a player who was always simpatico. A must watch. Track the emotions of someone who was told "you will never win Wimbledon ....you are a choker". Enjoy.

22.01.2022 Junior Boys Open tournament at Port Douglas Tennis Club. Aiden defeats Levi in the final in a close match. As usual Aiden presented "Aiden 1 " and "Aiden 2" ......perhaps to keep the spectators happy ? In the final Aiden won the first set 6-4 then Levi came back to level the match winning the second set 6-2. Aiden completely got his game together to play near perfect tennis and win the Super Tiebreaker 10/4. Aiden previously had defeated Rory in the semi finals in a "David v Goliath" style match. In the doubles final Rory and Levi defeated Nash and Aiden 8-2.

05.01.2022 This Tuesday (6th August), we lost a very dear member of our Port Douglas Tennis Club family. Charlie was a friend to all and never failed to bring a smile to everyone's face. Words can't express how much we will miss your crazy stories and cheeky chuckle Charlie. To say you will be missed is an understatement. For anyone who would like to celebrate Charlie's amazing life, there will be a funeral service at St Mary's by the Sea on Tuesday 13th August at 10:30am. This service will be followed by a casual gathering at Salsa, Wharf Street, Port Douglas. The club would like to express their sincere condolences to Gayesy and family
