11.01.2022 This is big! SHARE the news. For the last twenty years, our community has been campaigning to secure the future of this site, protect the Callan Park Act, a...nd get a proper funding commitment - today we've achieved all three! I joined the Minister at Callan Park to announce this historic $10 million commitment which exceeds anything promised or delivered by Liberal and Labor Governments over the past 20 years. It almost doubles what was pitched by NSW Labor before the 2019 State Election. This money will be used in part to fund the long awaited Landscape Structure Plan which will revitalise the site by opening up space for parkland, demolishing some intrusive buildings, and promoting safe walking access. For those of us who attended the very first Callan Park rally way back in 1999, this is a long awaited and historic win! THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed to this campaign and especially the Friends of Callan Park without whom none of this would be possible. Please share the good news.

10.01.2022 I think it is institutionalised racism and I think it’s been the old lands department, a pillar of the white dispossession of Aboriginal people, that’s been the problem.. This is an absolute indictment on successive NSW Governments, the backlog includes the first claim lodged under the the land rights act in 1984.
