07.01.2022 A fantastic day for 20 Poly Va’a Paddlers at the Sydney Harbour Challenge race yesterday. All crews and paddlers got medals, the Club won $500 dollars and every...one had an amazing weekend away. Thankyou to Northern Beaches OCC for holding this iconic event. Thanks also to the three Tweed OCC paddlers who filled three seats for us and especially Bodo Lenitschek from Noosa OCC who endured a tough journey to take ours and three other canoes to and from the event. Thanks also to Port Macquarie OCC for loaning us your Fai Va’a OC6 and Gena Kenny from Noosa for arranging a women’s team which two of our late entry paddlers paddled in. A great weekend in a great and lucky country. This is paradise.
