21.01.2022 The Port Adelaide Suicide Prevention Network (PASPN) are excited to announce that the Inaugural Local Legends Awards are now open for nomination. Nominations Close 30 October 5pm The 'Local Legends Awards' intends to discover people in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield who have made, or continue to make, a positive impact in their local community. The 'Local Legends Awards' were created to identify nominees and of course winners who have been instrumental during times of community crisis. The three nomination categories include: Individual Local Legend, Business Local Legend and Community Group Local Legend. Nominated can be completed via paper-copy nomination form and mailed to PASPN or lodged electronically at www.portadelaidespn.com.au

03.01.2022 Dardi Munwurro, which delivers a range of family violence, healing and behaviour enhancing programs and services to Aboriginal families and communities, now has a 24/7 crisis Hotline for Aboriginal men who are struggling, or in need of a yarn. The organisation is encouraging men to reach out when they need support and call Dardi Munwurro Crisis Line on 1800 435 799. Dardi Munwurro has also transformed its services to digital in a hope to address the need for immediate help during and beyond the coronavirus pandemic.
