14.01.2022 ' When I nominated for the role of President I gave an undertaking that I would make myself available to meet with members for two-way communication. Firstly, to hear your views and issues of concern, and also to inform you of what is happening at Board Level and how we are coping post COVID-19. ... These meetings are also a great opportunity for you to meet and hear from our CEO Michael Phillips. These are the days and times that Michael and I will be in the View Room to meet with you: . . : Please take the opportunity to join us, we welcome your input and where possible we will answer your questions. The Board has engaged a consultant to work with members, staff and the Board to develop a five-year Strategic Plan to address the future direction of our golf club. The firm we have engaged is Taylored Leadership Solutions and the facilitator is the director of the business, Michael Taylor. The process will begin in early February and will take approximately nine weeks to complete. Michael Taylor will conduct several meetings with the Board and staff as well as facilitate several focus group meetings available to all members. The Strategic Plan is critical to the future of our club, and it is essential that members have ample opportunity to convey their thoughts in relation to the direction that the Board takes to ensure our continued success. When the plan is finalised in late March, it will be made accessible to all members through hard copy and the club website. The Board will also provide members with regular progress reports against the outcomes of the Strategic Plan. ---
