24.01.2022 @precision_defence_industries finally got his hands on the first prototype unimount. As for the release, will be aiming for December as a first production run. Currently they are still in the state shown

23.01.2022 Precision rifle ACT competition on Thursday night, didn’t get as many photos as I should have. Thanks to Steve from Practical Rifle Solutions for organising the event. Night time shooting made for some interesting stages! It was good to finally meet a few people and put a face to a name. Particularly Steve and Beau from Precision Varminting Look forward to the next one!

18.01.2022 It’s been a long time coming, more hours into it than I want to think of. But I finally did it, I cleaned off the damn bench!! Oh, also made a unimount..... Thanks to @precision_defence_industries for kicking my ass to get it done. 34mm tube, 29mm rail to centre height, 7mil of elevation cant. Off to @anotech.sydney this week to get anodised.

15.01.2022 Back in November 2017 the first delta we ever got our hands on was a Delta ‘titanium’ 4.5-30x56, that scope was actually one of the early Delta Stryker scopes t...hat simply didn’t have its new branding on it yet. Over the last 3 years Delta Strykers have proven to be one of the most popular items we carry and we are proud to promote these sensational scopes. In 2020 they have done a slight rebrand with their logo and packaging, along with a number of new models being launched. One of these new scopes is the Delta Javelin, a 34mm main tube and 56mm objective, all packed with ED glass. The Javelin is going to be available in Australia for $1600 and in the entry level scope market it is one incredible scope. Coming standard with aluminium flip covers which are a joy to use, along with lift to turn locking turrets and a zero stop, this scope is perfect for your precision .22 or your entry point into PRS and precision shooting. We’ve actually already had a batch come in which sold out before we even had time to really put ours through it’s paces. We expected the next batch to do the same. If you would like to get on the list for one, please get in touch as these are not currently available on the website.

12.01.2022 Saturday’s spent grinding away....... 30mm 0mil/7mil elevation cant, as well as 34mm 0mil cant fixtures are done. Thanks to all those people who’ve reminded me I *need* to do this. Next step is to pickup infeed stock and then production of 12 new components. Simple!

10.01.2022 Saturday’s spent right. Machining a picatinny rail adaptor for a Swarovski spotting scope.

08.01.2022 Weekends production run. Trying to catch up... as usual.

03.01.2022 Anodising done! Time to put this one through the wringer, and set up for a production run.

02.01.2022 Bourney from Precision Defence Industries has put together his R&S with our soon to be released Unimount. Its holding a new Delta Stryker in place with 7Mil of elevation, giving the perfect mount of objective clearance. I have to say.... thats a damn nice looking rifle!

02.01.2022 http://www.portermachineworks.com.au//unimount_porterscope Ok.... its been a bit of a long time coming, but its finally done!
