24.01.2022 What an awesome experience. We saw Port Hedlands coastline like never before thanks to the Adrian McRae #wingsofkilimanjaro. Amazing to see sharks, dolphins and dugongs all enjoying their natural habitat and a massive osprey rarely seen nesting in the middle of a salt flat - how cool is that. #justanotherdayinwa

24.01.2022 We saw this spectacular sunset last night , wishing everyone a great Easter. #eastersunset #spectacular #nature #justanotherdayinwa

24.01.2022 Sunday Sunrise.

23.01.2022 Did you see the storm that came from nowhere last night? #Porthedlandnature #port #weather #storm #photography #nature

22.01.2022 An unexpected freak storm hit Port Hedland last night creating a spectacular rainbow like Ive never seen before. Got absolutely drenched btw filming it. :) Hope everyone has a SAFE and Happy Easter. #porthedlandnature #justanotherdayinwa #staysafe

22.01.2022 TO COMMEMORATE EXACTLY 50 YEARS AGO MAN FIRST WALKED ON THE MOON we have put together a collage of moon videos taken in Port Hedland over several years. I remember watching that first giant step for mankind moment as a three year old on our black and white TV with my dad Mychailo Dziombak RIP.

22.01.2022 This is just a test

21.01.2022 The Port Hedland Winter climate is as good as it gets. Having just returned form overseas grey skies, rain and flu then to see the same in Perth we sometimes dont appreciate our own back yard... Tony RIP #justanotherdayinwa #porthedlandnature #climate #billsbalcony

19.01.2022 First time we ever saw Black-necked Storks (Jabiru) at Kingsmill St / Town Beach in Port Hedland. We only ever saw them once before at Finucane Island which we posted #porthedlandnature 22.4.16. Also amazing to see a flock of opportunist Frigatebirds looking for food immediately after Cyclone Damien passed. Also great to see the Cruise ship in Port again last weekend.

18.01.2022 Celebrating the International Year of The Reef. An awesome compilation of 10 years I have been privaleged to be out on the Port Hedland reefs with Citizen Scientist Doris Teufel. Where else can you experience this. Come and see the amazing exhibition at Dalghety House Museum which opens tonight for one week until Friday 5th October! #justanotherdayinwa #seethesights #whatareyoumissingouton #sunshine

17.01.2022 Anzac Dawn. Lest We Forget

17.01.2022 An unexpected freak storm hit Port Hedland last night creating a spectacular rainbow like I've never seen before. Got absolutely drenched btw filming it. :) Hope everyone has a SAFE and Happy Easter. #porthedlandnature #justanotherdayinwa #staysafe

16.01.2022 Amazing to see so many dolphins playing and feeding at the mouth of the Port Hedland harbour in June. For the first time we filmed all three species together the well known bottle nose the bigger humpback and the snubfin. I guess working from home had some rewards being able to see these beautiful creatures in their natural environment. Also we saw a phenomenon called the " Strawberry Moon " and the microlight men. #justanotherdayinwa

16.01.2022 Fortunately Cyclones Blake and Claudia didn't effect us too much in Port Hedland during January 2020. One lightning storm struck behind the hospital in South Hedland causing a relatively small bushfire. I can not imagine the intensity of what is happening with the megga bushfires on the Eastern side of Australia. Our thoughts are with you.

16.01.2022 The sheer " Force of Nature " was unleashed on Port Hedland last weekend as Severe Tropical Cyclone Veronica bashed our shores and community. Some suffered serious damage whilst others were more fortunate. Nevertheless I hope there is plenty of help out there for those who need it. #Cyclones #Safety #Nature #Community #Disaster #rescueservices #justanotherdayinwa #not

15.01.2022 Port Hedland tonight and a selection from 2018

15.01.2022 Did anyone see the storm rolling in this morning? The forecast was fine and sunny!

15.01.2022 The Port Hedland skyline lights up with spectacular sunrises and sunsets particularly through the winter months. Living by the ocean gives us the privilage of seeing these awesome sights every year. These were filmed just last week by the Port Hedland Nature team. Port Hedland Nature Two is now in full production which includes even more amazing displays of nature at the mouth of the biggest tonnage export port in the world.

12.01.2022 Happy New Year. First little bit of rain/ shower yesterday and today 2019.#justanotherdayinwa#nature#climate#businesscentrepilbara

12.01.2022 Thanks from #porthedlandnature for your support #porthedlandvisitorscentre

12.01.2022 TH BIGGEST EARTHQUAKE EVENT weve ever experienced in Port Hedland. It was one of the scariest and totally unpredictable few minutes of my life. Around this time yesterday whilst cooking Sunday lunch it felt like a very strong gust of wind to start with which were used to living on the ocean then the whole house began to shake violently. Plates laid out on the table were rattling then actually started jumping all over the place. The power went out and the water in the sink w...as spashing over the edge onto the floor. The view of the ocean horizon from the kithen window seemed to tilt 5 degrees both ways as the whole appartment complex was obviously moving. We ran down the two flights of stairs and out onto the street where there were others whod done the same. It all happened so quickly and we were in too much of a panic to even attempt to take any footage. We were personally very lucky and fortunately had no major damage but very interested to hear other peoples experiences of yestardays event. #porthedlandearthquake #porthedlandnature #justanotherdayinwa #potentialdisaster See more

12.01.2022 Wild Summer sunset tonight.I think the dot is the moon

12.01.2022 Hoping everyone is staying safe as restrictions due to the Covid 19 Pandemic are starting to ease. Some of us are still working from home so weve put together a short clip of some of the wildlife we saw in the front garden during May. Beautiful multi-coloured sunrises and sunsets, the moon setting with a kite flyng past just at the right time & place, a visit from another magnificent raptor enjoying my roof, kingfishers, a young goanna annoying the local birdlife before it goes into hybernation and always a spectacular display from the opportunist frigate birds which seemed to come from nowhere after the "once in a decade" storm caused by an unusually late ex tropical cyclone Mangga.

12.01.2022 Happy Easter from Port Hedland Nature.

12.01.2022 We hope everyone had a great Easter weekend we watched a couple of amazing sunsets in total contrast after the sandstorm hit us on Good Friday. #porthedlandnature #freakweather #beautifulsunsets

10.01.2022 Anzac Eve Port Hedland Skyline. #lestweforget

10.01.2022 Did anyone see this spectacular phenomenon yesterday early morning? We were privileged to have a great view of this once in a lifetime event. During this amazing lengthy lunar eclipse Mars also came quite close. Then we turned the other way to see a beautiful sunrise. #onceinalifetime #planetaryalignment #bestviewfromhere #justanotherdayinwa

10.01.2022 Sunset last night with a few drops of rain in Port Hedland.

08.01.2022 What an awesome night at the North West Festival in Port Hedland last weekend. We went to the sundowner and saw an absolutely mesmerising performance by the winner of The Voice Australia 2018 - Sam Perry. #awesomeperformance #shearentertainment #justanotherdayinwa

07.01.2022 Did anyone see the freak storm that came from nowhere smashing through Port Hedland yesterday afternoon. Half an hour later it had gone as fast as it came displaying an amazing sunset. A reminder that cyclone season isnt over yet with Cat 1 TC Savannah now formed over the Cocos Islands to the North West. #porthedlandnature#climate#storms#cyclones#weather#stormchasers#northweststormchasers#photography#justanotherdayinwa

07.01.2022 AWESOME TO BE BACK out on the Port Hedland Coral Reef with Citizen Scientist Doris Teufel at the BEST time of year during October lowest tides. We are still discovering new creatures and the water is cristal clear at the mouth of the biggest tonnage export port in the world. Doris also has an exhibition at Dalgety House Museum of photos taken over many years studying the Hedland Intertidal Reef. #porthedlandnature #porthedlandvisitorscentre #porthedlandseafarerscentre #coralreef #marinecreatures #justanotherdayinwa

05.01.2022 We saw a similar storm in Port hedland last night and got some great pictures which were about to share with a double rainbow.
