24.01.2022 We have a new exhibition called Free F'All in the gallery at the moment. The other studios in the Julia Street Creative Space have joined in to make it a vibrant and interesting exhibition. It will run till February 4.

24.01.2022 The Lane way Art works are nearly ready to be hung down the lane way, with each artwork representing each of the studios. This one is the one by Rory representing the Portland Artists' Society.

22.01.2022 Robyn MacDonald painting a really big wall ready for contemporary works of art to go up soon, each representing one of the studios in the Julia Street Creative Space complex.

17.01.2022 This morning's activity at the painting studio. Edna brought in a large pumpkin to share.

15.01.2022 A couple of portraits in coloured pencil by Tracey Snoys, on display in our window in Julia Street. It was hard to take photos through the glass and I am sorry that I have a flash mark on one!

14.01.2022 Come in and visit us at the Julia Street Creative Space. Lots of variety of things locally made to buy.

13.01.2022 The lead lighters studio is about to hold an exhibition in Julia Street Creative Space, and this is the floor lamp - butterfly lamp, with a stand made by the wood workers, and is offerred as a raffle. I will be buying tickets that's for sure.

13.01.2022 Two watercolour paintings by Sue Melblom and a painting by Daphne Pascoe and Micheline Murphy. Come and see the paintings in the gallery on Friday and Saturday to buy a painting for mum.

10.01.2022 Some matted works by Barbara Kidman are now in the gallery. Very reasonably priced.

06.01.2022 Jane Dillon has her photographic works and a few paintings in the window for 2 weeks. As well as a textile chair and cushion. Come along to `19 Julia Street to check them out. Sorry the first photo is on its side!

04.01.2022 The Portland Artist have a new exhibition at Julia Street Gallery. Come in and browse at the paintings depicting portraits and farm life. We also have some new gifts in the shop as you walk through to the exhibition.

03.01.2022 We had a whole arts page in the Portland Observer today, with a story about our artists of the month, Jeanette Huppatz and a photo of Tony Bennett and Liz Francis hanging the current exhibition.
