Monday 16th December - 1.30pm - 2.45pm... Tuesday 28th January - 9.00am - 11.00am Both Canteen and Uniform shop will reopen from 8.30am Wednesday 29th January 2020.

09.01.2022 NSW Healthy Canteen Strategy. We did it! Port Macquarie Public School Canteen has met and exceeded the requirements for the NSW Healthy Canteen Strategy. What does this mean you ask? The NSW Government requires all public primary schools in NSW to be compliant with the Strategy by December 2019. Menus must consists of 75% or more healthy everyday items, we achieved 86%. Occasional items will still be available but can not be displayed or promoted. So you will notice some item...s disappearing from the menu, some just from display, others are being tweaked to fit with the strategy. So from December 1 some changes will include: no more Chicken Dino nuggets and Slush Puppie meals, but you can still order both items separately. No more crispy chicken tenders, these have been replaced with oven baked fresh tenders, either on their own or in our yummy chicken burgers and no more frozen yogurts. This is an important strategy from the NSW Government to help reduce childhood obesity and to encourage our kids to make great food choices. If you have any questions about the strategy or menu options dont hesitate to pop into canteen and ask. A new menu will be sent out at the start of 2020, or check it out from December 1 on the amazing canteen ordering app, Flexischools.com.au
