22.01.2022 Piedad Solano born in Santiago de Cali, Colombia South America and I been living in Perth since 2003. Since she was a little girl she loved to paint with bright colours all my homeworks. As her family was not in a good financial situation she started to treasure many things. She growing up and she started to take photos of everything and started to made crafts with her mum’s help, who was her mentor while she was little , her father taught her about colors and resources. Tha...t was her beginning. Now her passion is my soul time. She loves to create figures, She makes crafts from all the things people use and leave behind or even throw away in the rubbish bins like cans, bottles, etc. Creating each piece with a meaning and every one of them have a significant meaning for her. Loves to transmit to people with my painting and transport them to the place She painted and to let them feel they are very special with every gift or present. textures and colors are very important to me because they expressing stages of life.



18.01.2022 Shirley Anne Fortina grew up in South Africa, spent over four and a half years in the UK and has been living in Perth Western Australia for the past 18 years. Shirley Anne’s passion is enabling those around her. She works with individuals and businesses helping them work out where they are at now where they would like to go and how they might close the gap between the two with an emphasis on strategic and business development planning. As the principal and director of T...he POD Consultancy. POD = People, Opportunities and Development she splits her time across presenting, facilitating, training and business development coaching. Shirley Anne believes in giving back to the community - She is the Perth manager for the Melbourne based NFP called The Nappy Collective who collect unused disposable nappies and distribute them to families in crisis; she also a board member of Starick a NFP that provides multi layered support services to women and children experiencing family and domestic violence. Shirley Anne is hooked on learning and development; she is a self-confessed book and TedX lover. She freely admits that cant play golf to save herself and at the end of a hot day in sunny Perth you will find her with a refreshing drink and with her family. See more

08.01.2022 We would like to introduce Nadia De Oliveira, a Wellness Coach & Ayurveda Lifestyle Consultant. Nadia de Oliveira, will be at our Afternoon Tea on the 27th September 2020, her passions include the ancient Indian medicine known as Ayurveda and humanitarian work. She lived in India to deepen her knowledge in Ayurveda and to volunteer at Mother Teresa’s House. Nadia also gained experience in East Timor volunteering for an NGO called Casa Vida that welcomes girls victims of abuse. Nadia will share with us her life experience and how to overcome mental abuse

07.01.2022 Virginia Wu Orjuela studied interior design in Brazil and have been working in hospitality area for about 10 years. After having 3 kids she decided that was time to stay at home and find something that could work from home, so she did some research to find out how she could apply what she has study before . VITA Creative Design personalised/create gifts & product for birthdays, weddings, baby shower, kids and so on. All the materials are made from wood & acrylic. Virginia loves what she does: design, cut, etched & paint . Came to the workshop and find out more about this Business and some ideas for Christmas presents

04.01.2022 We would like to introduce Ana Santos, a registered clinical psychologist in private practice, she will talk on our Afternoon Tea, about Mental Health. Ana is an expert in Trauma and Psychological First Aid, and has worked with the United Nations services in Kosovo and East-Timor, as well as the Portuguese Red Cross, firefighters, police forces, and correctional services in this regard. Ana is passionate about psychology, and making psychological and neuropsychological principles accessible to people in everyday contexts. She has facilitated group workshops across Europe, Africa, and Australia, and has extensive experience working with diverse populations across the life span.

02.01.2022 We announce our new Committee Member in Public Relations Dr Boehl is a passionate leader in Resources Asset Management and Maintenance. Her career spans over 20 years within mining and utilities, management consultancy, initially as a civil engineer, then research analyst and Manager Asset Management. Carla works as Asset Management Lead at Fortescue Metal Group. Previously worked as Innovation Manager at Monadelphous Maintenance and as Digital Operations Manager at Westrac ...CAT Technology. She worked as Senior Lecturer and Researcher at the WA School of Mines (Curtin University) where she lectured Asset Management and Mine Maintenance and supervised several PhD students. She received engineering awards in Australia and overseas. Her interests include training and developing mining professionals in Automation and Data Decision Science. She is Fellow Member of Engineers Australia and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. McKinsey Alumni.
