24.01.2022 Poseidon Primary School is important to our community and therefore we should ensure that we look out for it! Could we ask that our community please contact the school’s security number on 9264 4771 or 1800 177 777 if you see anything happening on our school grounds that is concerning. Please remind your children that after school and during school holidays that bikes, scooters, skateboards and such are not to be used on any paths around the buildings. Children can utilis...e the oval during out of school hours. We thank you for looking out for our precious school!

23.01.2022 Interschool Jumps and Throws today at Craigie Heights PS, our team enjoyed wearing our new interschool shirts. Thank you to our P&C for raising funds to pay for our new shirts. The kids loved wearing our new shirts today.

21.01.2022 Footy Pie Day! Tuesday 20 October Please return your blue footy pie day order form by TOMORROW (Friday 16 October), a box will be placed in front of Room 15/16 (Year 5/6 classrooms) in the Senior Atlantis block in the morning. Don't forget to wear your footy colours next Tuesday for a gold coin donation. The senior students will collect the gold coin donation from classrooms on Tuesday 20 October. ... Thank you

21.01.2022 Halloween Disco on Friday, 30th October 2020. Junior Disco (Kindy - Yr 3) - 4pm to 5:30pm Senior Disco (Yrs 4-6) - 6pm to 7:30pm... No door sales, pre-purchased tickets only. Ticket sales close on Wednesday 28th October $10 per ticket which includes a delicious hotdog. Games, prizes & best dressed competition. Parents welcome to join. Bring coins on the night for drinks, chips and lollies on sale. This is a Year 6 fundraiser and is a Year 6 run event.

14.01.2022 Dear Parents, I’m thinking of starting a Transition to school program at school next year one day per week for a couple of hours on the day, for children 2-3 years. A Teacher to run this program at school in Room 1. Please let me know if you would be interested in a program like this at school. Initially we would ask Parents to stay with their children but as we progress through the year we will slowly transition to having only the children at school with our staff, and a formal transition program towards the end of the year. Please let the school know if you would be interested in this program at school for your little ones, and please spread the word to other parents. We would ask for a donation from interested parents to help us to cover consumables for the program.

13.01.2022 Tickets on sale this Friday! P&C Christmas movie night Friday 4th December in the undercover area. Tickets will be $10 per child (adults are free) this include...s your movie ticket a special Christmas treasure hunt, a photo with santa, popcorn and chocolate. There will be roast beef and gravy rolls for $5 along with a load of different candy bar snacks or feel free to bring a picnic if you prefer. The amazing lara will be in the undercover area Friday between 8.10-8.30 and then the same on Monday or the kids will bring home a note later this week with all the information including a form for drop box tickets if these days dont work for you.

13.01.2022 Poseidon Primary's RSPCA Cupcake Day is next Tuesday, 27 October. Poseidon Primary will be keeping up the tradition of running the RSPCA Cupcake Day. Due to the generous cupcake donations and helpers in previous years, Poseidon Primary has raised much needed funds for the RSPCA. Lets keep this tradition going! Please bake up a storm and bring your cakes in for our sale before school on Tuesday in the undercover area. Fruit kebobs are also a hit with children if you're not ...a baker. The cakes will be on sale for $1 and $2, so make sure you kids have some coins to purchase some delicious goodies. If you can help sell the cupcakes, please let Mrs Mugg in Room 18 know ASAP. We love to support this fabulous cause.

09.01.2022 Our first ever Twilight Picnic with Food Trucks event on Friday, 20th November 2020. It was fantastic to see so many families. A great community event and a great way to meet other parents and mingle with the Poseidon staff. A big thank you for all the numerous donations which not only raised funds for our school, but great entertainment for everyone. A big thank you also to the staff and parent helpers for their time and effort in planning. helping set up and organising the stalls. It could not have been such a success without your efforts.
