23.01.2022 Bring on the next 14 days!!!!! So excited to be embarking on the next phase of my training!! @inspiredcoachingcourses

21.01.2022 Its important to check in with those we care about when they don't seem themselves.. But how often do we cover up how we are feeling, by saying "I'm ok" when we really aren't? When we let our ego get in the way by keeping the problem to ourselves, we miss out on getting the help we need... If someone asks if your ok and your not, if your not comfortable opening up to them, then just let them know you will get help. Make the time to reflect on how you are going, and reach ou...t to someone you feel comfortable talking to. #RUOKDAY #reachoutforhelp #checkinwithafriend

20.01.2022 When you become a parent, your kids come first... When they are little, exhaustion can take over.. You spend your days taking care of the little bundle of joy, making sure their every need is met. The times that they are sleeping, you use to catch up on your own sleep, to keep on top of the housework, maybe even working a paid job.. Your time becomes consumed by other things.. Your time is spent doing the most important job in the world, looking after your beautiful baby... ... One of the biggest things new parents can face, is conflict with each other. The sleep deprivation, the uncharted terrain, and all of the emotions can cause a tear in the relationship. This tear often leads to over little things such as whose turn it is to change a nappy or who has it tougher. The when the other person isn't helping out enough or is expecting too much. The from feeling burnt out. The for your family. Well here it is, ! When kids come along, it doesn't mean your relationship has to suffer, it can make your relationship stronger! , . , ! ' . , . If you feel that your relationship is struggling adjusting to family life, lets work together to make it stronger once again! Book in a free 30 min discovery session to find out how!

19.01.2022 Self care is more then just having a shower by yourself.. It's more then getting to do the food shopping kid (and partner) free.. Self care is being treated to a day at the spa or a massage (done professionally, not by a well meaning four year old!!). Self care is being able to get you nails done (again by someone other then your uncoordinated toddler!!). ... Self care is joining a sporting team, or alone time doing a favourite hobby... There is a huge difference between self care and personal hygiene and adulting responsibilities... So what does self care mean to you?

15.01.2022 It is such an honour to be a part of these amazing parent's journeys! These parents have gone above and beyond so they can live the life they want! And so can you! Have you ever wondered what life will look like when you: ... Don't get angry or frustrated at your kids. Overcome your fears about being a bad parent. No longer feel sad all the time. Stop feeling guilty for doing things for yourself? These parents have! These parents have said YES To stepping up and reaching out for help! To learning how to love themselves for all that they are! To being in control of their life, and how they react! To living a healthy life for them and their family! To being the very best version of themselves! And you can to learn to say yes to! Book in for a free 30 minute discovery session and start saying YES to being you!

12.01.2022 I love watching movies with the girls, and Inside Out would have to be one of my favourites!! I've watched it over a dozen times, but it wasn't until recently that I started to really look deeper into the story, and something that really stood out was which emotion was in control.. For Riley it was Joy. For the father it was anger. And for the mother, it was Sadness... ... This brings me back to something I say to my clients often, "who is in control of you?". Are you letting sadness control how you feel day to day, or maybe even fear, or anger? When you start to take control back, then you can choose which emotion is front and centre of your control panel. You can choose to have fun with your kids while they are playing at the playground, and genuinely enjoy it!! You can choose to enjoy those special moments reading or drawing with your kids. Or, you can keep sitting sadly on the sidelines, or get frustrated during those moments... So what are you going to choose? If you choose Joy and need support keeping her at the control panel, then send me a PM to find out how easy it can be!

11.01.2022 Where do you feel the most calm? As parents we often get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life. We are constantly running from appointment to appointment, making sure the kids are at school on time or the housework is all done.. ... For me, that place is the beach. Whenever I step onto the sand and into the water, I am calm. The beach is a place to let go of all the stress, to reflect on life and to enjoy some time either alone or with family... Do you have a place like this? I'd love to know where so comment below!!

11.01.2022 As a mum, we get so caught up in making sure our family is looked after, that our own needs often get neglected. ? Our schedules are so full of running around after our kids, making sure they get to soccer practice on time, and their tutoring sessions, but when was the last time you did something that YOU enjoyed for you? ... When was the last time you said no to someone so you could do something for yourself? How often do you feel burnt out? How often do you feel exhausted? How often do you feel guilty spending time alone, even if it is just to do the grocery shopping? What if you could fill your own cup, without feeling guilty? How much happier will you be when your own needs are filled? If you need help finding you time without the guilt, book a free 30min session to see just how easy it is!

04.01.2022 How often do we have days we just wish we could forget? Those days where we screamed and yelled at our children. Those days where every bit of hurt, fear and anger that we kept bottled up just boiled to the surface and exploded. Those days where our children looked at us, with such fear in their eyes.... Those days where we just couldn't take it anymore. The kids were yelling at each other, and it took every bit of strength and energy from within us to deal with their big emotions. How often do you have those days? Those days are the ones we wish didn't happen, but are the days we can learn the most from. Those days are the ones we should sit back and reflect on, to take the time to notice what about those days triggered us so we can learn and resolve that trigger. That way, when faced with that trigger again, we are able choose to act differently, so those days no longer happen... If you struggle with these sorts of days more often then not, help is here. Send me a PM, and lets reflect on those triggers so they no longer happen again.

02.01.2022 "My parents beat me as a child and I am not traumatized," said the man whose ex-partner reported him for physical violence. "When I was a child they left me cry...ing alone until I fell asleep and it was so bad I did not go out," said the man who spends long hours in social networks, affecting his sleep. "They punished me as a child and I'm fine," said the man who, every time he makes a mistake, says to himself words of contempt, as a form of self-punishment. "As a child, they put a heavy hand on me and I suffer from a trauma called 'education'," said the woman who still does not understand why all of her partners end up being aggressive. "When I became capricious as a child, my father locked me in a room alone to learn and today I appreciate it," said the woman who has suffered anxiety attacks and can not explain why she is so afraid of being locked in small spaces . "My parents told me they were going to leave me alone or give me to a stranger when I did my tantrums and I do not have traumas," said the woman who has prayed for love and has forgiven repeated infidelities so as not to feel abandoned "My parents controlled me with just the look and see how well I came out," said the woman who can not maintain eye contact with figures of 'authority' without feeling intimidated. "As a child, I got even with the iron cable and today I am a good man, even professional," said the man his neighbors have accused the police for drunk hitting objects and yelling at his wife. "My parents forced me to study a career that would make me money, and see how well off I am," said the man who dreams of Friday every day because he is desperate in his work doing something every day that is not what he always wanted. "When I was little they forced me to sit down until all the food was finished and they even force fed me, not like those permissive parents" affirmed the woman who does not understand why she could not have a healthy relationship with food and in her adolescence came to develop an eating disorder. "My mother taught me to respect her good chancletazos to the point," said the woman who smokes 5 cigarettes a day to control her anxiety. "I thank my mom and my dad for every blow and every punishment, because, if not, who knows what would happen to me," said the man who has never been able to have a healthy relationship, and whose son constantly lies to him because he has fear. And so we go through life, listening to people claiming to be good people without trauma, but paradoxically, in a society full of violence and wounded people. Author : Unknown . 02.01.2022 How ready are you for the first week back at school? On that first day back, the bags are all packed, uniforms all clean, and the stationery you had to spend an hour fighting the ques in Officework for are all ready to go... But the kids... Well they are still in holiday mood. You just know you are going to struggle to get them out of bed on time, and that it will be a fight to have them ready before its time to leave.... Make this year different! Just two words can change your morning... JUST BREATHE... Sounds simple right? But all too often when we are stressed, frustrated and running late, we actually forget to breathe properly. So make this back to school week different, notice when you are starting to feel overwhelmed, and give yourself a moment to take 4 deep breathes from deep inside your diaphragm. Let the oxygen fill deep into your lungs, and give yourself a moment to check in with yourself. You have got this! Drop an emoji below and tell us how your first day back at school went!
