24.01.2022 Today Ahmed covers the topic of - LOAD SHIFTING The biggest drawback with solar panels is that they only work when its daylight. At night we still have to purchase electricity from our energy provider (unless you have a battery, which Ill discuss soon) and normally this evening energy is at a premium. There are of course cheaper tariffs available, however, most of these start very late at night and are mainly used for heating hot water due to the unsociable hours. 22.01.2022 Good news for Solar customers...... The NSW government is considering recommendations to standardise the NSW Solar feed in Tariff. The recommended rate is between 12-14 cents per Kilowatt.
