19.01.2022 6.30 am. Preparing for the ride into Birdsville. No fuel for 388km. First real test on sand and ballbearing road surfaces for the riders ... some nervous but lots of excitement amongst the group.

NOW $4950 SAVE $500 The Birdsville Track Brisbane to Adelaide!... 7 17 Sep 2019 In 2019 we take you through remote central Australia the middle of nowhere! Typically, this is the territory of four wheel drive adventurers. Instead, we will do it on a small 110cc motorcycle. The precise route of the 2019 event is still unfolding and we are still working through the first couple of days departing from Brisbane, Queensland, and the last couple of days into Adelaide, South Australia. But between Windorah (Queensland) and Marree (South Australia) the route is pretty obvious the Birdsville track. Adventure is in the journey rather than the destination and this is one not to be missed. You will pass through small country towns; the wide expanses; at times you will ride with a group; somtimes alone; you will feel remote; a million miles away from civilisation; there will be long days on the bitumen; your sand and dirt riding skills will be tested; some days you will travel at full speed (75km/hr!!!) and others will be spent negotiating narrow dirt roads at 30-40km/hr; YOUR MISSION: keep your small motorcycle going for the 3500+ kilometres!

Inclusive package: - A registered Honda motorcycle for the event duration. - Milk crate attached to the rear carrier of the motorcycle. - A fluorescent vest to be worn when riding. - 2 pre-event newsletters. - Daily running sheets with distance and turn points. - Event polo shirt. - Event cap. - Lunch box. - 2-3 mechanics. - Truck to carry luggage and spare parts. - Most breakfasts, lunches and dinners. - Support vehicles with water, first aid and satellite communications. - Camp sites from departure date to second last night. - Accommodation in a hotel (twin share) for one night at our destination. - Three course celebration dinner on the final night. 11.01.2022 Early Bird Registration for 2020! Brisbane to Darwin via Hells Gate! 5 16 Sep 2020... First 30 places are $4950 SAVE $700 ends 31/12/19 or until sold out. Places 31 to 70 are $5250 SAVE $400 ends 21/3/2020 or until sold out. After 21/3/2020 enrty is $5650 Entries opened 2 days ago and the first 20 places are filled !!!!!! Hells Gate is a remote Pub/station near the Queensland Northern Territory border remote, rugged and civilisation is several hundred kilometres away. Dirt road in dirt road out. Travelling north from here we cover 350km of wide red dirt roads and several river crossings before we overnight in a small Aboriginal community, with its crocodile infested waterway. The trip from Brisbane to Darwin replicates the first event from 2002. It is the longest in terms of distance and travels through some of the most remote places of any of our previous trips. Travelling through local forests out of Brisbane you will find the landscape change daily, becoming sparse then scorched as the roads change to single lane and then red dirt. The humidity builds as we head north and west across some amazing landscapes. Remote towns, long ribbons of bitumen road, dirt, sand and bulldust is guaranteed. Several hot days will be rewarded with clear artesian water holes to swim in. Even time for a visit to the Qantas museum and Stockman’s Hall of fame in Longreach!
