23.01.2022 We have received clarification from SA Health that we may continue to perform what is required and what we would normally do to ensure the safety and well being... our horses and animals if there is no one else present to do so: Providing feed and water Movement of horses (welfare/veterinarian only) Exercising of horses (excludes training and competing) Shoeing horses if essential Please note in performing these requirements individuals will need to comply with health and safety requirements: Wearing a mask outside the home Sanitising hands Maintaining physical distancing We trust this information satisfies most of your questions. 22.01.2022 Tomorrow’s clinic with Lucy is set to be a busy one, the car park is always tight but I have marked out some additional parking on the grass on way up to the arena, it’s not too wet but perhaps 4wds only to be safe! It’s a little bit of a hill to walk up to the arena, but hey, rider fitness is important too

We hope everyone enjoyed themselves Very pleased with how the arena looked post clinic with over 40horses on it on it on the day! ... The indoor has a Soiltex surface with Ebb & Flow watering system from Capricorn Australia Pty Ltd absolutely cannot beat it for consistency and it’s so easy to maintain

20.01.2022 HI EVERYONE! I’ve probably talked all of your ears off about this situation already .. if you are able even just to share that would be amazing! Any donation is greatly appreciated and if you have a small pony items such as rugs or halters let me know I have the wonderful Justin Halling of Halling Horse Transport teed up to bring some of the girls in the next week or so. Being mostly un handled at this point it’s not quite as easy and just popping up to get them with a f...loat or truck... Stay tuned for plenty of updates over the next month and beyond

19.01.2022 When you hire our arena, you are coming into our home. I have not made it available to the public previously for hourly bookings but this year with another venue closing near by I have had a large amount of requests. We ask, that when you come into our home, you respect it, and that goes for us and our animals Time and time again I have stated that no dogs are allowed, and there has not been one clinic when there have not been dogs here. If your dog is sick or there is s...ome necessity to bring them, you’re more than welcome to ask as some have done before and we can make a plan so that is does not disrupt our dogs. They are generally locked inside during these times however they do need to pee from time to time and if they smell another dog they will go on adventures disrupting everyone until they find them as that is their job being guardian dogs! And. The complaints about the turkeys! You’re more than welcome to discuss this with me directly usually the turkeys are locked away for clinics and bookings but unfortunately like with all animals, things don’t always go to plan, and if I’m not made aware of the issue, I can’t fix it So, unfortunately I cannot guarantee that if you hire the arena that you won’t see, dogs, turkeys, chooks, guinea fowl, kangaroos, tractors, utility vehicles and who knows what else if this isn’t the place for you that’s ok there are several other beautiful indoors available for hire in the hills

Monday to Friday 7am start 10-15 hours weekly Award wage Duties include- Turn out Feeding & unrugging Stable cleaning Making up hay bags General cleaning and maintenance of horse areas including mowing and arena grading Requirements- Current drivers license Knowledge of basic horse husbandry Confident and capable of handling a wide variety of horses, including young horses and from the very small to very large!
