If Jayde is successful, Rebound WA will use the funds he is awarded ($10,000) to repair valuable equipment so players don't need to share chairs. Jayde has been proudly volunteering for Rebound WA's wheelchair rugby program for the past 15 years, and is now the team captain and coach. Being able to put the funds towards repairing their existing equipment will go a long way to keeping this amazing sport goin...g for many years to come. Jayde has been nominated by Westfield Carousel, while our very own Bec Evans has been nominated by Westfield Innaloo, so they are not in competition with each other. 08.01.2022 To all our fans, supporters, sponsors, partners and friends, we give the following update on what's happening at WAPFA. Over the past couple months, we've had the unfortunate passing of Anthony Ambrosini (Bayswater City), the retirements of Dylan Needham (Floreat Athena) and Jakob Ratnayeke (Bayswater City), and a serious injury to Juddy Newman (Bayswater City). This has decimated our player base and as a result we no longer have enough players to resume our local competition... for the time being. We're actively seeking new players and hope to have enough players to re start our local competition ASAP. Thank you all for your patience and continued support during this transitional time and we hope to bounce back stronger and better than ever in the not too distant future.
