09.01.2022 We can’t open our doors in Joondalup just yet but we can show you what’s been going on behind the scenes at PowerPlay Perth. Our European electric go-karts, two-level track and safety barriers arrived in two massive shipping containers a couple of weeks ago. (Shout out to Swift Customs Services Pty Ltd who were a huge help with that process.) It felt a bit like Christmas for the PowerPlay team except we weren’t allowed to play with our new toys!!... As you can see from the pics, we’re going to have a colourful track (those blue things are the track safety barriers) and we can't wait for you to find out for yourself, it's going to be fast and fun. 03.01.2022 POWERPLAY is opening soon in Joondalup well, soonish. Like you, we can’t wait to get to the other side of all the serious stuff that’s happening in the world at the moment. We’re keen to get the party started at POWERPLAY and see friends, families and workmates reunite for some FUN!! Isolation is essential but soooo boring, right?!... We have the only ELECTRIC GO-KARTS in WA (they’re fast and quiet) and the only European-built TWO-LEVEL RACETRACK in Australia. As you can see from the pics below, the only thing missing is you!! So, while we wait for the GREEN LIGHT to open our doors like our page to keep up to date with all that's happening at POWERPLAY. 03.01.2022 It's great to see lots of places around WA being able to open again and we can tell by your messages that you're keen for PowerPlay to open too. What's holding us up are the travel restrictions that remain in place. That's because our two-level track came from Europe and an installation team was meant to fly in from Italy to put it all together (yes, it's that complicated!!) We're working on getting them here (think visas and mandatory quarantine), but also have a plan b jus...t in case. With that in mind, we're looking at a September launch date. We can't wait to welcome you in Joondalup and let you try WA's only electric go-karting experience for yourself.
