18.01.2022 This is a community notice relating to community radio 107.5. Currently the running of the radio is in dispute in the Supreme Court of NSW and the Department of... Fair Trading. The original group that were successfully running the radio for the community are doing everything they can to assist the legal process, including submitting timely and accurate affidavits so that the court process can be fulfilled as quickly and painlessly as possible. These afadavits were due today with a court date set within the next week. Please be patient and have faith in the courts and Department of Fair Trading to make a decision in the eyes of the law and in the best interest of the station. This little radio should be focused totally on the community, as it was, and not caught up in this mess that appears to follow others actions. Further, the original group, are not running any sort of radio broadcasting or streaming and have been waiting patiently for the dispute to be resolved. Any claims to the contrary are false and defamatory. They are also NOT asking for, or submitting requests for grants or any other type of income from advertising. Whilst the court process is underway, this would be both unethical and dishonest. NOR IS THE INITIAL GROUP LIABLE FOR ANY SORT OF EXPENDITURE MADE ON THE PART OF THE SECONDARY GROUP Inc Mr Hair or A Spalding. The CBF or Community Broadcasting Foundation is aware of the dispute and watching the legal process as it unfolds. I find it very sad that the radio which was run for many years has been dragged in to disrepute and disruption in this way. In the meantime the radio is being run.

09.01.2022 So a certain newspaper (not the CWD) post a notice in their paper making 3 amazing people sound like they are doing something illegally. I can tell you no they ...are not. Ann-Maree Coyte Farren Hotham and Damon Anderson are fully legit. These people have encouraged and supported a lot of people in the community like myself. They have not done anything illegal. During February a certain group of people illegally broke into FM107.5 and took the station off air. They did not follow what is outlined in the station constitution and then went and had an unconstitutional meeting without informing current financial members what their intentions were. Ever since these people have harassed the above mentioned and today took things to a next level and made it too personal by making them out to be criminals in a almost full page advertisement. I do not agree with their actions and I encourage you to attend the actual legal AGM next week at 6:30pm at the orange City bowling club! See more
