21.01.2022 Looking for a Project Mechanical Engineer (Bilingual - English/Mandarin) FIFO Perth We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Project Mechanical Engineer to join our team and work FIFO from Perth. As a Project Mechanical Engineer, your duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:... Perform mechanical design activities, use mechanical knowledge and experience to take into account cost, constructability, reliability and operability aspects for the basic design; Prepare quotations based on the technical information from tendering documentation; Responsible for development of detailed safe work procedures; Coordinate all technical activities to perform the project awarded Liaise with vendors and contractors to achieve the best outcome in terms of procurement of materials, parts and services for project works; Assist in the delivery of projects to meet budget, time-frame and quality targets, exceeding client expectations; Contribute to the resolution of technical issues on projects and providing technical guidance to the execution team; Prepare weekly reports and provide input of risk assessment and technical review reporting Work closely with client engineers and supervision to achieve the desired quality level The be successful for this role, it is essential you meet the following requirements: Bachelor degree of Mechanical Engineering Native or equivalent Chinese Mandarin speaking, reading and writing Fluent English speaking, reading and writing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the team and client Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Minimum 1+ years experience in mining maintenance/construction industry Competency in using Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Project programme Previous experience with AutoCAD or Solid works an advantage Current Class C(manual) Australian Driving License.
