14.01.2022 Today the children enjoyed a visit to the Thuringowa Library. Encouraging Early Literacy is laying the foundations so that children gain the necessary skills to develop readiness to read. Providing opportunities for young children to develop early literacy is important for school readiness and life success. The children at Precious Kids Family Day Care thoroughly enjoy weekly visits to the library.

12.01.2022 The children have been exploring there environment whilst we have put off all excursions. We’ve been getting lots of egg from our white hen, the red hen has more but she is ‘sitting’ on them to grow some baby chicks. It is very exciting waiting for their arrival. The horses have been meeting us at the fence more often. They love the carrots we share with them. We have been learning about other farm animals, and pets. We like to pretend we are veterinarians with our pretend animals. We have some stethoscopes to dress up with.
