24.01.2022 Darts Qld are planning on hosting a Junior State Championships in February to give back to the Juniors. This is going to be hosted at Redlands on 20th & 21st February 2021. A Queensland Team will be selected although a Australian Championships will not be held in 2021.

23.01.2022 Public Health Alert Community members on Brisbane’s southside are asked to remain alert but not alarmed as Queensland records three new cases of novel cor...onavirus (COVID-19). The first case is a 19-year-old woman who tested positive after travelling interstate last week. She is an employee at Parklands Christian College on Brisbane’s southside. Queensland Health is working closely with the school which has temporarily closed until further notice. The second case is a 19-year-old female travel companion. Both cases travelled interstate together last week. It is believed they contracted the virus in Melbourne, Victoria. The third reported case is a known close contact, a 22-year-old woman, who tested positive later today. This individual is an employee of YMCA Chatswood Hills Outside School Hours Care. Queensland Health is working closely with the school and the care centre, both of which have temporarily closed until further notice. 20.01.2022 Darts Queensland is highly recommending that all fixtures be postponed until at least the 31st March 2020 with further review at that time. We have postponed th...e Zone 9 Open this weekend to a date to be advised. We recommended that all representative and trial matches be postponed. Darts Queensland will work with the Zones going forward with their Zone team nominations. At this stage the Queensland Championships in May will still be held but this is constantly under review as with the Australian Championships. It is trying times, but we ask that all our members and clubs stay safe and make wise decisions regarding games. Players and officials health and well-being are more important than a game of darts. 17.01.2022 Due to covid19 and the effect it could have on numerous members within our club the committee has made the tuff decision to close the hall untill further notice we will have a executive meeting on the 30 March 2020 to discuss this matter further and I will provide updates as they come to hand. 16.01.2022 Hi everyone just an update of what’s happening we are looking to reopen the club house as of the 4th of July. I know that other clubs are reopening sooner but due to a number of different reasons this is the date that has been chosen it is a Saturday so we will ease back into things with pot luck pairs and we will have a hole new set of rules and regulations to abide by due to COVID 19. We are hoping that the state government has lifted the restrictions further by this date.

08.01.2022 Its with the heaviest heart that I write this post but Keith Carmody passed away last night peacefully in his sleep. Keith was an inspirational man who always seemed to get the best darts out of everyone who played with him, he never stopped loving the game or the club that he and Yvonne started all those years ago. Our condolences go to the Carmody family at this time. Keith we miss you already mate and we all hope you rest easy in paradise with Yvonne.

08.01.2022 PREMIER DARTS is back open tonight so come down for a game of singles. We are opening under a full COVID plan which means everyone still needs to social distances and abide by the rules. The club will be open at 6:45 for a 7:00 start. See you there

03.01.2022 On behalf of Premier Darts I would like to thank all of our Volunteers who helped make our Sausage Sizzle at Bunnings last Sunday a success. Thank you Sandy, Colleen J, Sheena, Dot, Shelly, Kayla, Mark and Fridge. I thank you all for your time and effort. The day was a great success especially for our very 1st Sausage Sizzle and I know everybody who helped had great fun doing it. Thank you all again.
